Here's some advice for making Connect a successful part of your student engagement program!
- Setup FAQ's and Resources before you launch to students so the first time they're in the site they can see there's valuable information at their fingertips

- To get students to Register in Connect, use Student Search to send a bulk email or text. This ensures the email is logged in each students profile.
- Be sure to emphasize why it's important for them to utilize the system so you can help support them

- When posting a new Resource or FAQ:
- See how it looks by logging into Connect as a Test Student; adjust as necessary
- Announce it by bulk texting or emailing students to bring it to their attention.
- Enticing that last 10% of students to register in Connect:
- First, verify you're using their current email. Many students switch to using their school email once at college and may not be getting your emails.
- Second, try texting them the registration link
- Third, do you have a newsletter or other communications that goes out to all students that could include a reminder to register?
- Fourth, not responding is often an indicator the student is in trouble. Perhaps reach out to them individually via a more personal method.
- Encourage them to add the Connect site to their phone and mobile devices. This article explains how.
